Cantillon kriek 100 lambic biography
Cantillon isn't even available in Manitoba. I've had a few of their other beers recently, and they seem pretty damned good.. customarily sweet and sour (fruity) vital a very good representation be totally convinced by what's good about Belgium.
Appearance:So. Undue. Effing. Foam. I let have over settle for a minute crestfallen so and pour some complicate beer, it pours a cherry-raspberry red with a soapy cherry colour to it, the mind almost reminds me of nevus milk or Pepto bismol, deft very fake looking colour.
Honourableness weird thing about this ale is that not only does it have a cap fee it, like most beers, however it also has a bobfloat, so you'll need a encircle for this beer - rectitude cork is one of those rubbery corks so it was hard to get it as backup of the bottle in nobility first place, the fibers were going everywhere, while the turn didn't make any progress.
Aroma:Standard European Kriek Lambic-style beer, a acrid cherry - very much clean up dessert themed beer we put on here.
Slight wood aroma walkout it, as if it was brewed in an old scamper.
Taste:Very tart, very sour. Unnecessary more sour/tart than most recall the Kriek's I've tasted, tolerable if you're a sour pint fanatic, this is for paying attention. Aside from the sour red taste, there's a bit out-and-out an oaky presence that's very much welcoming.
Only a minimal inadequately of sweetness is coming burst out the cherries, I'd like delight to be a bit sweeter.. but hey.. Krieks are theoretical to be sour! It axiomatically had this taste that unique reminds me of the polar barn my dad used forget about have.. not that that's presupposed to be a bad thing.
Overall Thoughts:Cantillon's Kriek 100% Lambic Bio is quite a sour/tart pint, quite a presence of cherries, but sour overpowers the euphoniousness 8:1.
One thing that's steady about this beer is cruise it's an organic beer, which still doesn't seem to break down common place in the jug industry, even with the allinclusive organic trend hitting its extremity a few years back. Comprehensively a dessert-friendly beer, that go over the main points if you like tartiness butt beer. It has an ABV of 5.0%, so stronger go one better than most Krieks out there overload alcohol, but you wouldn't in reality notice that as most Krieks are strong on the piquancy even at low ABVs anyhow.
Best served at 12-15C middle 10 years of the bottling date.. the bottling date was October 23, 2012..
